POST HISTORY
A TRIBUTE TO ALL CHARTER MEMBERS
To preserve the memories and incidents of our association in the Great Wars, the following men of foresight and vision applied for a membership Charter of The American Legion. January 18, 1946 a charter was granted and this infant Post became known as American Legion Post 58-A. Subsequentially, November 2, 1953, the group became known as: Col. Louis A. Carter Post 832, American Legion.
